Digiforms Designer allow for defining data-sources and variables common to the document and included files, all according to XSLT specifications. Technically, datasources are implemented using xsl:variable select="document(URI)" constructs, compatible with any compliant PDF rendrer. Additionally, Digiforms Server adds CACHING functionality to enhance application performance.
To add a document level datasource
Click [File] and [Document Settings] in main menu. Open the [Datasources and Variables] tab.
